The Fourth Annual Charity Gala

Light & Legacy

Saturday, November 14, 2026 · 6:00 to 10:00 PM · The Lodge Hall, Grapevine

The evening

What to expect

The lodge hall is transformed for one night a year: candlelight down the length of the checkered floor, a string quartet from the university, and two hundred people who all came for the same reason.

Dinner is a plated three-course meal from Brother Alvarez’s kitchen — smoked brisket with a vegetarian and a gluten-free option, both of which are good enough that people order them on purpose. The silent auction runs through the reception; the live auction is short, loud, and unreasonably competitive. Historically, a single dessert has sold for $900.

Dress: black tie optional. Masonic regalia and aprons are welcome and frequently outnumber tuxedos.

Parking: free on-site, with valet service from 5:30 PM. The hall is wheelchair accessible via the Ashlar Avenue entrance.
